Sustainable development
The Young Economic Chamber for the Plastics Industry association is based in Auvergne, a region which ensures reasoned economic development as well as the preservation of its natural resources. Feeding on this land of contrast, the Young Economic Chamber for the Plastics Industry wishes to present the concept of sustainable development and to increase the businesses' awareness.
The plastics industry has many qualities necessary to integrate sustainable development. Most of the executives and workers of our companies are "locals". We are all more or less close to:
- local associations,
- local government,
- nature around us.
The Young Economic Chamber for the Plastics Industry is convinced the jobs will be created as a result of:
- the design of eco-products,
- the development of careers in the sector of the environment,
- the respect of the environment in those companies (ISO 14001 standards, mastering energies...)
The Young Economic Chamber for the Plastics Industry works to give the plastics industry a nobler image and to communicate on changes to come.
