Innovation

The Young Economic Chamber for the Plastics Industry is a true idea shaker, placing the Plastics industry in the middle of current innovations. Innovation can be defined as any scientific, technological, organisational, financial and commercial approach ideally leading to new products or processes. It can come in several shapes or sizes: an idea to implement, a technological change to integrate, an organisational issue, a project to be brought to fruition.

The Young Economic Chamber for the Plastics Industry assumes that an individual idea can be given credit and value through collaborative work. That is why we aim to organise collaborative R&D projects. These intercompany projects enable each company to offer its specific skills to a more general project. It is also an opportunity for each participant to boost its teams as well as getting a chance to develop new markets.

Innovation is accessible to SMEs! That is why the Young Economic Chamber for the Plastics Industry wishes to bring research centres and businesses closer together to create technology transfers useful to businesses. Union is strength, and collaboration between research and industry will create an opening for our businesses.

A real project incubator, the Young Economic Chamber for the Plastics Industry also offers customised support for each innovation project, notably thanks to its full-time Business Development and Innovation Officer.

We believe in sustainable innovation – long-term innovation.
