JCE Plasturgie

The Young Economic Chamber for the Plastics Industry was founded in October 2007 by a group of young plastics professionals from the Loire and Haute-Loire departments in France. The organisation is open to all partners from all areas of the plastics industry and to SMEs representing 23 different plastic production technologies and organised into several geographic areas each having specific skills such as packaging skills (Haute-Loire), technical skills (Thiers) and Health and Beauty skills (Vichy, Aurillac).

One goal: To obtain the 2010 Plastics Excellence Label

Innovation

Today, plastics can be found in every innovation, by innovating together we can improve our image and profitability.

Social promotion

Bringing young people and retired professionals together to help creating and taking over businesses. Promoting and ensuring the stability and value of the jobs created by plastics.

Internationalisation

Our presence abroad will allow us to limit our dependence on the French market and to increase our customer base.

Sustainable development

Recycling and new energy sources have a clear future in our industry.

• A mobile plastic recycling unit.
• A business incubator.
• Revitalising specialised schools and qualifications.
• Creating an Experts Committee and a Scientific Committee.
• An annual plastics innovation meeting in April 2009.
• Collective action and workshops (DRIRE).
• Technology and legal watch centre.
• Pooling of our export resources.

Our resources

All of the public institutions and specialised institutes (Community Of Municipalities, current minister and prefect, DRIRE, CCI, Expansion Committee, Casimir, Insa, Cnrs, Plastipolis Competitivity Centre, Allizé Plasturgie Union, etc.) back us and share the wish to see the industry revitalised.

A permanent office located in the Haute Loire Packaging department in the premises of the Community Of Municipalities of the Marches du Velay in Monistrol sur Loire.

A permanent incubator: a full-time Business Development and Innovation Officer hired by the Association liaising with the businesses on a daily basis.
